The oak solid wood flooring in this Putney Property was looking tired and in urgent need of restoration. During our free site survey, we did detailed inspection of the floors & discussed with the client all available choices, followed by comprehensive quote with our floor restoration & repairs prices for solid wood flooring.

Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of oak solid wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.

How we completed this oak solid wood flooring renovation...

Solid solid wood flooring floors are durable, long-lasting and therefore, we tend to find them in condition, which requires more work & preparation. Our team will re-inspect the floors for movement and in case it requires any repairs, prior to the floor sanding works.

During the solid oak floor renovation, the timber floors are going through a process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to sealant application & between the coats, for outstanding results.

Our works included approx. oak solid wood flooring floor sanding and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Mega lacquer.

Overall, this floor renovation project in Putney was completed as scheduled and to the satisfaction of the client.
